Additionally, please note that we do not sell puppies outright with breeding rights. Show/Breeding prospect puppies are rarely available and only sold on a co ownership when they are. If you are looking for a breeding dog, do not waste my time or your own.

We also request your patience when searching for a well bred puppy. Preservation breeders are far outnumbered by the poor quality breeders. Craigslist and Puppyfind are filled with poor quality puppies who can go home immediately. Most of us do not have puppies available year round and many work with waiting lists. If you are seeking immediate gratification, you have come to the wrong place. Litters are planned far in advance, health tested and titled to the fullest and with much consideration. Waiting for the right puppy is well worth your time, given the life expectancy of these dogs and knowing you are expected to pay for supporting a good breeder and obtaining a well bred dog should be paramount to you. But if you are unable or not patient enough for that, I ask that you not bother continuing with this application.

Morrow Akitas will accept a deposit to hold your place for a litter only after the pregnancy has been confirmed via ultrasound. ALL SHOW PUPPIES ARE SOLD ON A CO-OWNERSHIP. YOU WILL NOT GET BREEDING RIGHTS FOR ANY PUPPY NOT ON A STRICT SHOW CONTRACT AND NOT UNDER A CO OWNERSHIP CONTRACT. MORROW AKITAS DOES NOT SELL PUPPIES FOR BREEDING HOMES. Please note that if there is no puppy available in the litter that suits your needs, (ex: no companion puppy of specific sex, show puppy of specific sex) deposits can be transferred to the next litter or refunded. Our puppies are evaluated for show potential at 8 weeks of age. Show selection puppies will be chosen first, followed by companion puppies. A deposit for a companion puppy gives you the selection of a puppy out of the puppies deemed companions, not of the whole litter. We must receive this application and all other required information before a deposit will be accepted.
