Meet Ouija

Ouija is our keeper from the summer 2020 litter between Trooper and Sabrina. Ouija has a beautiful outline with coat and bone for days & a temperament to die for - despite denying he was staying for a long time, we just couldn't let him go! I know we are not supposed to have favorites around here .. but .. shh. & We know, anyone who follows us on social media knows that this is no secret. If you ever have the fortune of meeting him, you'll understand why. Ouija showed at a few small shows in 2022 and in early 2023 he ventured out to the Brooksville, Florida cluster, going Best of Breed over the specials every day of the show and made a few large cuts in the Working Group. He was back home on the couch for another year before we decided to knock the dust off of his show lead and send him back to the ring with the hopes of finishing. At the expert hands of Nicki King and Grace Kofron, Ouija finished his championship with back to back majors going BOW/BOS over the special. After giving him another few months off, we brought him out as a special to run with my dear friend, Grace Kofron. His first weekend in the show ring and still very green, he was awarded Best of Breed both days and then on to a Working Group 3rd and Working Group 2nd. At the confidence of Grace, a multi BOB winner in her other breeds at WKC, we carted Ouija off to New York for Westminster Kennel Club. Well, what can we say? Ouija most certainly enjoyed himself. He was a bit more convinced we brought him to the Indy 500 and was there to show everyone a good (and FAST!) time, but what an incredible experience and an honor to show on such an iconic stage - at the 2025 Westminster Kennel Club show, Ouija was awarded an AOM. A few more weeks off and we were back in the show ring where Ouija and Grace have continued to polish their relationship and presence in the ring. It has been a joy to watch this team continue to grow together. In May, Ouija picked up another Working Group 2nd and to close the month, won the Working Group going 1st in a beautiful line up. He finished his grand championship in early June going BOB all four days of the cluster, also picking up his BCAT, CGC and TKN the same weekend.

We are overjoyed at this boy's successes and the many compliments he receives when he is in the ring. We are so excited to see what the future holds for team Ouija, as well as the rest of this very consistent and promising litter - in the show ring, on the performance field and in the whelping box. Ouija's equally stunning brother, Ryder, was placed with our good friends at Skyline Akitas in Chicago. We look forward to watching what all Ryder and Chrissy accomplish together as well!

In October of 2024, Ouija welcomed his first litter - 7 beautiful, very consistent boys! His sons have already had some excellent results in the show ring out of the 6-9 month class and we look forward to the future for this batch of Morrow babies.
